𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟗𝐥𝐛𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝟏𝟗𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬! 👀
Tammie was no stranger to working out or eating well when we started working together.
She’s ran races, lifted weights, and played college basketball. 𝘚𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥.
Ultimately, injuries are what sidelined Tammie along with the struggles of a pandemic.
When we started working together, Tammie’s biggest goal was to decrease her pain by improving her mobility.
We went through a movement screen to see where she was struggling the most and how to progress in those areas.
Over the next 19 weeks, Tammie committed to following her workout plan to a T. She 𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 scheduled workouts, and if she did, she always hit them later in the week.
That consistency over the last 5 months greatly improved her range of motion (especially in her hips which were her biggest bugaboo).
She is able to do lunges and pushups significantly better than before. Her nagging hip pain decreased as well.
However, we know that working out is only half the battle when it comes to losing weight. Hitting nutrition is even more important!
Thanks to Tammie’s amazing wife, she had nutritious dinners and leftovers for lunches that she (Tammie) committed to bringing to work.
She even started to 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 veggies! Okay, maybe not love, but they are a daily staple as we’ve set the goal to hit 2-3 servings a day!
Notice that the “𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤 𝘣𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘴” that made Tammie successful are things that anyone can possess but we rarely actually see.
Those “𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤 𝘣𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘴” are 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲.
Through holidays, vacations, work trips, anniversaries, etc. She kept both intact.
If you need proof that those are the 2 most important ingredients in any fitness journey, Tammie is it.
