You’re willing to put in hard work and sacrifice some of the treats you love if it means you’ll be able to fit in those jeans again.
However, no matter how hard you push it on your peloton or how much you restrict your food, the scale isn’t budging.
So what do you do?
You push harder. You sweat more, eat less, and barely hang on each day as your stress reaches the boiling point.
𝘚𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭, 𝘯𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦.
And that’s when you finally say, “𝘍**𝘬 𝘪𝘵!🤬”
With smoke coming out of your ears, you throw in the towel and grab the bottle of wine.
If sacrificing your favorite things and sweating your ass off isn’t going to work, why the hell would you continue?
Especially when that glass of wine has always been a true confidant.
You might feel like your goals will never happen for you. But the truth is, your dedication and commitment isn’t the problem… 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐬.
The way you used to workout and eat to tone up, 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞.
Just like your maturity level has changed since then, so has your body and what it needs to be healthier and fitter.
Pushing harder and eating less doesn’t work when you’re knee deep in responsibilities between your work, home, and family.
Instead you need a plan that actually meets you where you’re at in your life.
One that supports recovery, strength, self-care, and nourishment.
It also takes grace and patience. You won’t be perfect, it’s not about perfection.
It’s about staying the course and finding the path you can be most consistent with.
